BOOKING A SAFARI
A safari date is considered booked upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the cost of the hunt. The Balance Due and the Global Fee are due NINETY (90) days before the start of the safari in order to guarantee the reception of your hunting license, gun import permit, reservation for the charter, etc. The hunter may elect to use either the Euro or the US$ price list for the cost of his hunt and Global Fee. Due to extremely unfavorable exchange rates in Bangui, trophy fees, suggested staff gratuities, etc. must be paid in EUROS in cash before you leave the camp; your bank can supply Euros upon request. Personal checks in other currencies will be credited to your account at the bank’s current rates; banking charges are the responsibility of the hunting client. Your timely payment helps us meet our responsibilities for the success of your safari. We strongly recommend that ALL safari clients take out a suitable trip cancellation insurance policy.
* If a safari is canceled less than ninety (90) days before the first day of the safari, the Deposit and Balance Due will not be reimbursed unless a suitable replacement is found by the hunter, the agent, or the operator, at which time a refund will be made less a 20% administration fee.
* If a safari is canceled less than six months before the first day of the safari, the deposit will not be reimbursed.
* If a safari is canceled more than six months before the first day of the safari, 50% of the full deposit (50% of the cost of the safari) only will be reimbursed.
* If you only complete a portion of your safari booking and leave early, the unused hunting days cannot be refunded or reused on a future booking, including circumstances arising beyond the Company’s control.
* All visitors must present a valid INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION for yellow fever and a valid VISA upon arrival in CAR.
